CHANGE LIFE MINISTRY CTH TOUCH HEAVEN is proud to announce the successful completion of our Youth Leadership Program, which saw 50 young leaders graduate with enhanced skills, confidence, and a renewed commitment to serving their communities. This intensive 6-month program was designed to empower young people with the tools they need to become effective leaders and positive change-makers.

Program Overview

The Youth Leadership Program was launched in June 2024 with the goal of developing the next generation of community leaders. Participants ranged in age from 18 to 25 and came from diverse backgrounds across Tanzania. The program combined theoretical learning with practical application, ensuring that participants could immediately apply their new skills in real-world situations.

Curriculum Highlights

The comprehensive curriculum covered essential leadership skills and community development principles. Each module was designed to be interactive and engaging, with participants actively participating in discussions, role-playing exercises, and community projects.

Core Modules Covered:

  • Leadership fundamentals and communication skills
  • Project management and strategic planning
  • Community engagement and mobilization
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Social entrepreneurship and innovation

Practical Application

Beyond classroom learning, participants were required to develop and implement community projects. These projects addressed real issues in their communities, from environmental conservation to youth mentorship programs. This hands-on approach ensured that participants could immediately apply their leadership skills.

"The Youth Leadership Program has transformed how I see my role in the community. I now have the confidence and skills to lead initiatives that can make a real difference in people's lives."
- Sarah Mwambene, Program Graduate

Graduation Ceremony

The graduation ceremony was a celebration of achievement and potential. Held at the Dar es Salaam Community Center, the event brought together participants, their families, community leaders, and program facilitators. Each graduate received a certificate and shared their plans for implementing their community projects.

Future Plans
